2026 General Election: Cape Coral & Lee County
Election Day Is Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Voters in Cape Coral and across Lee County will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the General Election. The ballot will include federal, state, county, special district, and local races, as well as statewide constitutional amendments. Cape Coral voters will also vote in the city's nonpartisan elections for Mayor and City Council Districts 1, 4, and 6.

Early Voting
Lee County will offer early voting for the 2026 General Election from October 19 through October 31, 2026. Early voting locations will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the early voting period, Lee County voters may vote at any of the county's designated early voting locations, rather than being limited to their assigned Election Day precinct. Early voting locations include sites throughout Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Estero, Lehigh Acres, and North Fort Myers. Voters should check the Lee County Supervisor of Elections website for the current list of early voting locations before heading out.
Vote-by-Mail
Lee County voters who prefer to vote by mail can request a Vote-by-Mail ballot through the Lee County Supervisor of Elections. The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot for the November 3 General Election is: Thursday, October 22, 2026, by 5 p.m. Vote-by-Mail ballots can be returned by mail or through an authorized Secure Ballot Intake Station. Secure Ballot Intake Stations are available at designated locations, including early voting sites during the early voting period. Voters who receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot should return it as early as possible to allow enough time for delivery and processing. The ballot must be received by the Lee County Supervisor of Elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters can also use the Lee County Elections website to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot, track the status of a ballot, and find ballot-return locations.

He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and Management, Finance from Southeast Missouri State University.
